01 / The retreat

About the project

Just beyond Zion National Park's East Entrance, WildKing Escapes is creating a secluded luxury retreat across approximately 640 acres, surrounded by protected public land and sweeping canyon views.

02

The resort centers on 34 freestanding cabins, each placed to capture the landscape while keeping guests' privacy intact. Guests can choose a one-bedroom retreat for two, a two-bedroom cabin for families and friends, or a three-bedroom residence for larger groups. Every cabin pairs high-performance, eco-conscious construction with refined interiors, so it feels both grounded in its setting and genuinely indulgent.

03

The stay is fully all-inclusive. A full-service restaurant and bar serves as the social heart of the property, and a wellness spa and pool offer space to slow down between adventures. Programming balances active exploration of Zion's canyons and trails with restorative wellness experiences, so guests can shape each day around how they want to feel.

04

WildKing Escapes is built with a light footprint in mind. Onsite solar power, independent water systems, and fire-conscious site design are woven into the resort's infrastructure from the ground up. Just two and a half hours from Las Vegas, it's an easy escape into a landscape that feels a world away.

Roger King

Managing Partner, TenParks, LLC

Roger King learned real estate early, watching his father build a portfolio from scratch and then lose much of it almost overnight when tax laws changed. That experience shaped the lesson that has guided his career ever since: the market doesn't care about your business plan.

Over the next 30 years, Roger flipped more than 180 homes and built luxury custom residences and multifamily projects. In 2015, he stepped away from high-end residential development to acquire mobile home parks, starting with a community in Oklahoma. The move surprised many, but it proved to be one of his best decisions. Across 15 communities, his thesis held: assets built around real need, in places where competition can't easily follow, deliver durable performance through market cycles.

Today, Roger applies that same thinking to eco-luxury hospitality, developing destinations in markets where geography, regulation, and scarcity create natural barriers to entry. He works alongside hospitality partners who have built and operated more than 300 major resorts and properties worldwide. Roger brings the vision, strategy, and coordination that turn an exceptional site into an exceptional place to stay, backed by relationships built over three decades.
